It was no surprise to find Ignazio D’Agosto on pole as the Tony Kart driver won his 4 heats. The Japanese driver Yu Kanumaru was also strong with 2 wins and 2 second places which put him on the front row of the grid for the Prefinal. Ben Cooper and Chris Lock completed the top four on the Tony Kart clipboard.
The Energy drivers Nicolaj Moller-Madsen and Max Goff monopolized the 3rd row. There was a good performance from the new Spanish KF3 champion Gerard Barrabeig (Intrepid / TM), who took 10th place in his 1st race in KF2. Fast, but often held up, Aniello Smarrazzo (Tony Kart / Vortex) was only 25th.
Sami Luka (DR / Maxter), Laura Tillett (Gillard / Parilla) and Karol Basz (RK / Parilla) managed to qualify through the repechage.
